Honey Royal Rich Nourishing Handcream
This is the standout product in the Happy Valley Royal Skin range. I am prime candidate for trying out handcreams as I have always suffered with dry, cracked, blemished skin on my hands that just does not seem to repair easily. I started using the Royal Skin Rich Nourishing Hand Cream two weeks ago and have been delighted in the difference to my skin health. For the first time in years, and after trailing many handcreams, I have found a product that deals with my skin issues. Unfortunately, I did not take a before shot to show you the difference but I have included an after shot where you can still see some of the scars from the damaged skin I was suffering from healing nicely.
In terms of the product experience the cream absorbs tremendously well. I wasn’t left with greasy hands but soft hands that let me carry on with my day without the usual greasy slip. The fragrance is subtle yet still interesting– sweet, warm with a woody base. I am not a fan of overly fragranced hand creams as I find they end up lingering around and fragrance everything I touch.
For performance this rates highly too. On the first application I could see an improvement in my hands as they were well moisturised. The real improvement came in five days following a once to twice a day application. This is when I started to experience the repair and healing properties of the product that must be from two key ingredients of Royal Jelly and Manuka Honey. I went from exceptionally dry, damaged skin with unhealed blemishes to soft almost blemish free hands in a week. I’ve even started to use the product on my knees and elbows where my skin needs a helping hand when it comes to repair.
Overall, I recommend this product if you suffer from dry, blemished skin that needs healing and repairing. It’s a star product in the Royal Skin range and is reasonable at only $17 for 75ml and small enough to fit in your handbag. You can purchase your own tube from Happyvalley.co.nz
